“Building with SIPs”
Bryan Osborn of Space SIPs will explain the benefits of designing and building with SIPs. How SIPs are considered a truly green method of construction meeting CalGreen code mandates, take 50% less time to install, while combining 2 1/2 times the strength of wood framing with 60 to 70% savings on heating or cooling costs. He will explain why prefabricated SIPs are a smart choice for rebuilding in the Middletown-Cobb-Lake County area with it’s temperature extremes, located in one of California’s significant seismic fault zones, and factoring in the considerations that make SIPs less expensive than typical wood framing.
